While we are on it, you should keep in mind that not all items are covered by the return/refund policy.
When you request a refund on Temu, your request will typically go through a couple of stages before you can get a refund. Here's the typical process.
- You request a refund.
- If a return is required, you'll have up to 14 business days to return the Temu package. It should be free if it's your first time.
- Temu receives the item and checks it in its processing centers.
- If your request passes the checking process, Temu will refund your money to your available payment method or Temu credit.
While refunding without requiring a return is Temu's sole decision, there's a working cheat you can use to get a refund without having to return the item even if you received it. We'll see that later.
What Items Are Not Eligible for a Temu Refund?
Temu will typically refund you for an order that didn't go well. I mean it's just so normal because you spent to get that item. However, there are a few categories of products that Temu's return/refund policy does not cover, including:
- Clothing items that have been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery, or have had their tags or hygiene stickers removed.
- Grocery and food products.
- Health and personal care items.
- Some free gift orders.
How to Get a Temu Refund Without Return
Temu's refund typically requires a return in most cases. However, I brought up two legit ways to get a refund on Temu without having to return the item, and depending on the method, you can get a full or partial return of your order.
1. Full Temu Refund Without Return
This method is just Temu's typical return/refund process for eligible items. However, the cheat comes when you request a refund for items worth at most $15.
So to get a full Temu refund without return:
- Login to your Temu account in the Temu app or at Temu.com
- Tap "Your orders" and click on the "Return/Refund" button.
- Locate an order not more than $15 in value. Depending on the reason you selected, you may be required to provide further information related to the order. After you provide the required information, tap "Next Step" to proceed.
- If you're fortunate enough, you'll not need to return the item and you'll simply have to select your refund method, which can be your Temu credit balance or your original payment method.
- Once all is set, tap "Submit".
Temu will process your request for a couple of days and issue you a full refund for your order.
2. Partial Temu Refund Without Return
If you're looking to get a refund for an item that's more than $20 worth, this method is what you should use. In this case, you'll typically accept a partial return for the order you aren't satisfied with.
Once you apply for a refund, Temu will offer you the possibility of getting a partial refund for this order. If you don't want to return the order, you'd want to accept this offer and if you do Temu will deduct one free return from the number of free returns you have for this order.
Where Do I Find the Temu Return Label?
Temu, unlike most e-commerce sites, does not ship a pre-printed return label with your package. You only get it when you submit a refund request. So you can find the Temu return label in your account by navigating to the "Your orders" tab. Once here, request for a refund for an item that has been delivered. You'll receive the return label in the email Temu will send to you after 48 hours of submitting your request.

Where to Return Temu Items?
Temu doesn't have a physical store where you can head straight and return your item. Usually, when you request a refund/return, you'll receive an email including all the information about your return including the location you're to visit to return your item.

Are Temu Returns Easy?
Whether or not a Temu return is easy depends on a couple of factors such as the item size and the drop-off location. However, if the item is small in size, you won't face many difficulties in getting it to the drop-off location.
